Adam Clarke’s commentary is one of my “go to” commentaries. He often comments from the translation of the original manuscripts providing insights into the authors intended meaning. Additionally, I am going to a Baptist/Calvinist seminary and, as a Methodist Theologian, Adam Clarke leans towards the Armenian/Wesleyan side of that argument. It is good to get commentary from both perspectives.
