I was surprised at how often I turn to this work.  I consider it the “wikipedia” of my seminary experience.  At the beginning of any research product I will consult this work for an overview of the tope as well as a list of potential resources for further reading.  Often, though, the section regarding the topic I am looking into provides enough information that no further research is necessary.  That’s what makes this work great for any library.  If you find yourself unfamiliar with almost any theological topic this work will give you a quick background that will allow you to continue the conversation.
